Safety-relevant information is always free. The reading, band, warning level, events and sources are updated on the public site as soon as they are confirmed. Premium sells convenience and depth: delivery to your phone, the written briefing, the outlook and the archive.

Free channels
On every paid plan you can pick any mix of the following. They cost us almost nothing, so there is no message limit on them.
- Telegram – our bot sends personal messages once you link your account with a one-time link.
- Browser push notifications – on Android, desktop and iPhone (iOS 16.4+, once the site is added to the home screen).
- ntfy – a private, unguessable topic in the free ntfy app.
- A private RSS feed of briefings and alerts.
Text messages: ceiling and crisis reserve
Premium SMS includes at most 50 text messages a month. 40 of them are for normal use (morning messages and up to 4 alerts a day) and 10 are reserved for the most serious alerts: the warning level rising to 3 or 4, and the most serious events.
- At warning level 3 or 4 the morning message moves to your free channels to save text messages for alerts, and alerts are merged into at most one message every two hours.
- When the ceiling is reached, messages continue on your free channels. That is why Premium SMS needs at least one free channel.
- You can buy a top-up: 25 messages for €3.99, valid for 3 months.
- We tell you when 75% and 100% of your messages have been used.
The ceiling guarantees the service never runs at a loss, even in a crisis month – so that it is still there when it is needed most.

7-day outlook. With no new information the reading drifts to about 23. A rise in the warning level within the next week is unlikely. An estimate, not a prediction – based on public sources.
Questions about subscribing
Will I miss anything important without a subscription?
No. The reading, warning level, events and sources are always free and update immediately. For free you can also get warning-level change notices in your browser or from the Telegram channel.
Can I cancel?
You can cancel at any time from your account. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
How do I pay?
Payment goes through Stripe's secure checkout (card, MobilePay). Your card details never reach our servers.
What happens if I run out of text messages mid-month?
Messages carry on in your free channels. You can buy a top-up if you like. There is always a crisis reserve for the most serious alerts until the ceiling is reached.
Do you ever ask for payment by text message?
Never. We never ask by text message for payment, login details or to log in via a link. If you get such a message in FWSI's name, it is a scam.
Can I rely on an alert in an emergency?
FWSI is not an official warning service, and delivery cannot be guaranteed. In an emergency call 112 and follow official announcements (112 Suomi app, Yle).
